This policy explains what information Bones & Beasts collects and how it's used. There's no advertising and no analytics or tracking beyond what's described below.
Creating an account (email/password, Google, or Sign in with Apple) is required to play. We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in, which stores your email address and display name (and, for Google/Apple, whatever basic profile info that provider shares with us — typically just your name and email). We don't see or store your password itself for email/password accounts; Firebase handles that directly. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page.
Solo games run entirely on your device. Your game history in the Stats tab (games played, wins, sets completed, times) is stored locally on-device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else, regardless of being signed in.
When you join a Group game, your display name and your in-game actions (dice rolls, card flips) are sent to our game server so it can keep the shared board in sync for everyone in that game. This data exists only for the life of that game session — it's not saved afterward, sold, or shared with third parties.
Bones & Beasts is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If how the app handles data changes — for example, if crash reporting, push notifications, or a paid subscription are added — this page will be updated to describe it.
